BRICKS is a knowledge consortium of eight scientific institutions:
- Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica
(CWI, the national research institute for Mathematics
and Computer Science in the Netherlands)
- NWO
(Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research,
Council for Physical Sciences)
And the computer science departments of six Dutch universities:
This combined expertise of the consortium members and their research
groups forms an excellent starting point for a high-level research
program such as BRICKS. All consortium members hold a strong
position in the computer science research infrastructure of the
Netherlands and all members co-operate at various levels within the
research projects. Next to the co-operation and the exchange of
knowledge, the research groups are affiliated to associate partners:
(inter)national academia, governmental funded bodies, and/or
companies.
