BRICKS is a six-year research program. Its funding derives from
three sources:
- Besluit Subsidies Investeringen Kennisinfrastructuur
(BSIK):
a scheme set up by the Dutch government to subsidize investments
in knowledge infrastructure using its natural gas reserves.
- Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek
(NWO):
General Board and Board of the Council for Physical Sciences
- The computer science departments of the four participating universities together contribute a large amount of resources.
