BRICKS MIDTERM SYMPOSIUM - 13 MARCH 2007
Date: Tuesday 13 March 2007.
Location: CWI/Turing Room.

The BRICKS projects that started in 2004, can now look back on their first 3 years. The BRICKS open competition projects funded under the FOCUS grants started later, but many of them are already in full swing. We hope the BRICKS Midterm Symposium will provide everyone (in and outside BRICKS) the opportunity to meet and to get a good overview of the progress of the BRICKS project. We will focus on the research highlights of the first three years of BRICKS, and the future plans for the remaining three.

Special attention will be given to the work of junior researchers in BRICKS, who will not only get a chance to present their work during two extensive poster sessions, they will also be granted a one minute (!) slot to pitch their research and convince the audience to come see their poster. The researcher with the best pitch and poster will win the BRICKS Dissemination Award.
